Daily Freebies

Well, of course, nobody wants to miss their daily freebies. Neopets, being the very nice people that they are, happily provide these free services for you to come and grab every day.

Our first stop is the Tyrannian Omelette! This will give you free omelettes, like Bacon or Sausage, but if you're lucky, you might get a Rotten or Tomato omelette and sell it off for a little more than usual. That's right, omelettes are handy for feeding your pets (3 meals per omelette! Now isn't that nice), but they're also, er, very sellable. But unfortunately not for much, probably around 10 NP depending on the type. Sometimes the Giant Omelette will dries up, or something, so you might have to come back later. If you even try to be sneaky and get an extra omelette, Sabre-X will come gnashing his teeth at you and chase you right outta Tyrannia and beyond.

Coming up next, we have Free Jelly! Two meals per jelly! Yes, you should be wobbling with joy now, I mean, if your pet isn't a picky gourmet eater, it should be plenty bloated right now. Although these jellies sell for less than omelettes, Cornupepper Jelly, Dung Jelly, and Poison Jelly all sell for quite a bit (relatively, anyway...) The Jelly also sometimes magically disappears at the most inoppurtune times, but never mind, what with the Omelette vanishing up all the time too, people should be used to that by now. And who guards the Giant Jelly and stops evil baddies from stealing it all? The Jelly Keeper, of course! And don't even think about nabbing yourself more than one jelly either. Where do you think he got his red complexion from?

The Faerie Springs - What the water faerie does can heal all your pets, heal only your active pet, increase 3/15/any other amount of HP to your pets, or bloat and heal your active pet. This is great for when your pet is sick or is dying from Lack Of HP, although you may receive a Healing Potion or Elixer, or (horrifyingly) a snowball, instead of getting cured. Don't give up hope, though, once the words "All your pets have been fully healed!/ACTIVEPET has been fully healed!" appear, you know all your pets/your active pet has been fully healed of sickness or Lack Of HP. You can only go about every 15-20 minutes.

Never, ever forget to collect your interest from the bank! Well, if you have anything worth collecting, anyway. I hope you do. Also, don't deposit/withdraw any NP before collecting your interest, that'll spoil your chances of getting to collect it for that day.

Coltzan's Shrine...Ah yes, the daily freebie that everyone looks forward to. After all, nice ol' Coltzan can either increase your stats, give you Lost Desert Food, once in a while some cheapo weapons of his, heal you, give you a Two Dubloon Coin, a big fat nothing, or, as it is rumored...even give you 1 MILLION NP!!! Now if that doesn't wake you up I don't know what will. You can visit Coltzan's Shrine every 12 hours.

The Fruit Machine - This is like a slot machine* where you try to get all 3 cherries or bananas...except here you're trying to get all 3 Ummagines or Tchea Fruit. Coincidence, huh? But anyway. You can either get nothing, or some kind of lousy Lost Desert food and 50np, or 3000np and a petpet! However, wins of Paint Brushes, Battle Muffins, 15-25K NP, and level-ups have also been recorded.
*I think it's called a slot machine, but I can never remember*

And here we have the Tiki Tack Tombola! Does the word "lottery" ring a bell? Well, it doesn't matter, as long as it's free, right? But anyway. If you draw a piece of paper with a number ending with either 0, 2, or 5, you win! Woo hoo for you! You can sometimes get faeries, codestones, quite a bit of money, or just some gross food sometimes. If you don't win, you can get a booby prize, and if the Tiki Man and his flowery shirt are feeling kindly they'll give you some extra NP. However, sometimes when you don't win, you won't even GET a booby prize! (Really. How cheapo is that?) Not to worry, the trip to Mystery Island is still worth it in my opinion.

Ugh. The Snowager is the riskiest dude around the block. If he's feeling snoozy he might let you get away with nabbing a couple of items, like cheapo weapons, neggs (Including a Neggititus Injection O_o), a scratchcard, and some other stuff, but most of the time he moves just a itsy bitsy little, and you scamper off like a scalded cat. And worst case scenario? You and your pet(s) get blasted, requiring a trip to the Healing Springs. Oh well. The times when the Snowager takes a coffee break are 6-7am NST, 2-3 pm NST, and 10-11pm NST. (NST is Neopian Standard Time)

Here we are at the The Soup Kitchen. This is for the extremely poor people who's pets are starving. Feel free to help yourself and belch! You can only get helpings at the Soup Kitchen if you have under 2000 NP in your bank, till, and on you.

The Laboratory Ray is for the rich people who can actually afford all the lab map pieces. But it's good to save up for one anyway, in my opinion...To gain access to the Lab Ray you must collect all 9 pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map. The Lab Ray can either change your pet, do nothing, change gender, or change stats.

Never, ever forget to collect your interest from the bank! Well, if you have anything worth collecting, anyway. I hope you do. Also, don't deposit/withdraw any NP before collecting your interest, that'll spoil your chances of getting to collect it for that day.

Can you come up with a hilarious joke to tell a Grumpy Old King? If so, Skarl may reward you for your efforts! Just don't get on his bad side, or you may find youself being thrown into prison for your efforts! You can earn medieval food or NP if you make him laugh.

Well looky there... You got a chuckle out of him.

If you can catch old Turmaculus awake he can grant you with level ups for either your pet/petpet, items, or maybe NP! The times when he wakes up is completely random, however beware, the Turmac can eat your petpet if he's in a bad mood! You also need a petpet to try and wake him up.
